In 2002, my friend David and I were going to create a website called BuyMyBrownstone.com. Interestingly enough, the URL is still available. We were going to try to raise $5,000,000 by posting a sob story about how we are two upper-middle class New Yorkers who simply couldn't afford the brownstone that our wives and children need... Our thought was, if 21 year old Alex Tew from Wiltshire, England could raise $1,000,000 dollars by selling pixels on http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com/, we could raise $5,000,000 for our building. Granted, he was raising the money to pay for college and then set his parents up for life (a slightly better story) but we wanted our brownstone, dammit. 5 years later, I am still struggling with how I can raise the money. Is there a catch that would get people to give?

Simsponizing Lindsay Lohan
The other night I was playing around with http://www.simpsonizeme.com/. This website offers good-old, clean-ish, wholesome fun! It;s not the most accurate tool but one I could use over and over again. I mean really, who wouldn't want to see themselves as a Simpson? Lindsay Lohan wouldn't... After I altered my picture and Liane's picture, I tried Lindsay's (not that I have 500 sitting around my apartment or anything)... It wasn't pretty. By the time I was done she looked more like a pouty, partying, pregnant, alcoholic than the innocent princess she is. Funny how that happened.

Hello Toes!
This morning Liane (my wife) and I were walking to the train when we noticed a little baby in his stroller with his feet sticking up in the air... Immediately Liane said "Hello Toes"... a saying that we both attribute to Sir Daniel Fortune. It was a touching moment. It's times like this that I remember back to my days of innocence and worry-free childhood. Oh... to live like that again.So, here's to all the toes out there.
